Created by Matthew Waldman, NOOKA is a MINDSTYLE™ brand. The concept of NOOKA is to create interactions between people and objects to foster a real universal language. As far back as 1998, with a licensing arrangement with SEIKO of Japan, NOOKA was a pioneer in bringing the revolution in interface design to physical objects. Key themes explored and expressed are: interaction, visual linguistics, interface, action design, design, and universal language.
NOOKA is currently on hiatus* as we develop new products. Our new focus will be on circular design and cutting edge material science.

to engage the consumer/end-user.
Inspiration
NOOKA sees the whole world as inspiration; it absorbs energy from it and creates new forms. New technologies and materials inspire new interactions and ways of thinking. Inspiration is a valuable resource we utilize.
Interaction
We see all design as interactive design.
NOOKA products change the brain states of anyone they comes into contact with by presenting alternatives to accepted norms in visual and physical communication between people and their world.
Futurism
Technology takes objects and processes into new contexts. The futurist believes that this process always results in progress. We strive to make sense of and integrate these advances into the NOOKA process.
